Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Antalya, Türkiye | 29 April – 6 May 2026

Somalische Kultur- und Integrationsverein e.V. (Germany) was delighted to participate in an inspiring Erasmus+ Youth Exchange held in Antalya, Türkiye, from 29 April to 6 May 2026.

The mobility brought together young people from different European countries, creating a dynamic space for learning, intercultural dialogue, inclusion, teamwork and active participation.

Throughout the programme, participants engaged in interactive workshops, group activities, creative challenges and non-formal learning sessions. By working together and exchanging experiences, they developed their communication, teamwork and intercultural competences, while gaining new perspectives and building confidence to become more active in their communities.

An important part of the experience was also discovering Antalya and Turkish culture. The participants had opportunities to explore the local surroundings, learn about the country’s cultural heritage and enjoy moments together outside the training programme. These experiences helped turn an international mobility into lasting friendships and meaningful connections.

For our participants from Germany, the exchange provided valuable knowledge, inspiration and experiences that they can bring back and share within our organisation and local community.

We would like to thank the host organisation, trainers, facilitators, volunteers and all participating partner organisations for their hospitality, commitment and excellent cooperation in making this mobility a memorable experience.

We returned from Antalya with new skills, new friendships and renewed motivation to continue empowering young people through international learning and cooperation.
