what we do in

Building Economic Resilience and Self-Reliance

The Livelihood Support Programme promotes economic empowerment and resilience by helping vulnerable households generate income, access markets, and use resources sustainably. Somali Culture and Integration e.V. provides immediate assistance in times of crisis while also investing in long-term livelihood strategies that strengthen household stability. By supporting small businesses, restocking initiatives, and agricultural productivity, the programme enables families to recover from shocks and build sustainable futures.

Interventions are designed to address both urgent needs and systemic barriers to economic opportunity. Cash assistance helps stabilize households during emergencies, while training and resource provision empower individuals to engage in productive activities. With a focus on women and youth, the programme builds pathways to self-reliance, food security, and economic participation.
