The International Development Programme expands the reach of Somali Culture and Integration e.V. beyond Germany by supporting vulnerable communities in the Horn of Africa. The programme focuses on improving access to healthcare, education, safe drinking water, and agricultural opportunities, responding directly to the pressing needs of local populations. By working with institutions and community-based structures, the programme ensures that support is relevant, practical, and aligned with long-term development priorities.
Each intervention is designed not only to deliver resources but also to build capacity and resilience at the community level. Schools receive learning materials and resources to strengthen education systems, hospitals are equipped with essential medicines and diagnostic tools, and farmers benefit from training and agricultural inputs that enhance productivity. These efforts reduce inequalities, promote self-reliance, and create pathways for sustainable development in fragile contexts.
