Human Rights Work

what we do in

Safeguarding Dignity, Rights, and Equal Opportunity

The Human Rights and Protection Programme promotes safety, dignity, and equal rights for women, youth, children, and displaced populations. Somali Culture and Integration e.V. combines advocacy, awareness raising, and direct support to address rights violations while creating environments where vulnerable groups are protected and empowered. The programme focuses on preventing exploitation, abuse, and discrimination, while also advancing policy reforms that strengthen protection systems.

Alongside advocacy, the programme provides practical support such as legal aid, documentation assistance, psychosocial support, and access to essential services. Through partnerships with communities, civil society, and government institutions, Somali Culture and Integration e.V. ensures that protection mechanisms are strengthened and that vulnerable voices are included in decision-making processes. This holistic approach builds safer communities where human rights are respected and upheld.
