The Health and Nutrition Programme is designed to improve access to essential health services and strengthen community awareness on disease prevention and healthy living. Somali Culture and Integration e.V. focuses on tackling priority challenges such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, and female genital mutilation (FGM), while also addressing maternal and child health. Nutrition education and child survival initiatives complement medical outreach, ensuring that vulnerable populations receive both preventive and curative support.
The programme operates in both diaspora settings and the Horn of Africa, where health systems often face resource limitations. Through awareness campaigns, training, and service provision, it empowers communities with knowledge and practical tools to safeguard their health. By promoting prevention, resilience, and equitable access to healthcare, the Health and Nutrition Programme contributes to healthier families and stronger communities.
