what we do in

Building Knowledge, Confidence, and Opportunity

The Education Programme is a cornerstone of Somali Culture and Integration e.V.’s work, designed to improve access, quality, and equity in learning for children, youth, and adults. The programme provides tutoring, mentorship, and academic guidance, while also equipping parents with the tools to navigate the German education system effectively. This dual focus ensures that learners receive direct support in their studies and families are empowered to play an active role in educational success.

Beyond immediate academic support, the programme addresses broader challenges such as retention, transition to higher learning, and access to vocational opportunities. Interventions are tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners both in diaspora communities and in the Horn of Africa. By building knowledge, skills, and confidence, the Education Programme creates pathways to lifelong learning and positions education as a foundation for empowerment and integration.
