From 31 January to 7 February 2025, our youth exchange “Empowering Vulnerable Youth for Overcoming Life’s Vulnerability in Europe (EVOLVE)” was held in Antalya, Turkey.
The project brought together 40 young people and youth leaders from across Europe to share experiences, build essential life skills, and promote inclusion. Over the course of one week, participants engaged in non-formal education workshops, creative expression, intercultural dialogue, and peer-to-peer learning.
Inclusion & Empowerment – Vulnerable and non-vulnerable youth worked side by side, breaking barriers and fostering solidarity.
Life & Employability Skills – Participants strengthened leadership, teamwork, communication, and decision-making abilities.
Well-being & Creativity – Arts, storytelling, and outdoor activities boosted self-confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging.
Intercultural Dialogue – The exchange promoted European values of diversity, solidarity, and respect, enhancing cross-cultural understanding.
This youth exchange was more than a one-week activity. It laid the foundation for long-term cooperation between partner organisations, strengthened youth participation at both local and EU levels, and inspired participants to take an active role in their communities.
The project has left behind a legacy of motivation, new friendships, and skills that will continue to shape the lives of participants long after Antalya.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, through the support of the German National Agency (JUGEND für Europa), for making this project possible.
Special thanks also go to our host organisation LIDOSK (Turkey) for their warm hospitality and excellent organisation of activities during the exchange.
Together, we empowered vulnerable youth, built solidarity, and created lasting impact across Europe.
