Erasmus+ Training Course in Alanya, Türkiye
As part of our ongoing Erasmus+ Accreditation project, Somalische Kultur- und Integrationsverein e.V. (Germany) participated in the third international mobility activity, a Training Course held in the beautiful city of Alanya, Türkiye.
Building on the experiences from the previous activities in Poland and North Macedonia, the training continued our common journey under the theme “Strengthening Digital Competences and Inclusive Practices in Youth Work.”
The Training Course brought together youth workers and educators from different European countries to strengthen their professional competences and exchange practical approaches to digital youth work. Through interactive workshops, group discussions, practical exercises and non-formal learning methods, participants explored digital literacy, responsible technology use, creative digital tools, inclusion and ways of increasing young people’s participation.
A strong emphasis was placed on exchanging experiences between organisations and developing methods that youth workers can transfer directly to their work with young people, particularly those from diverse backgrounds and with fewer opportunities.
Alongside the learning programme, participants had the opportunity to discover Alanya, experience Turkish culture and hospitality, and strengthen connections with colleagues from across Europe. These informal moments were equally valuable for building trust, friendships and future cooperation.
For our German organisation, the training provided new methods, practical tools and fresh perspectives that we can integrate into our local youth and integration activities.
Our sincere thanks go to the host organisation, trainers, facilitators and all partner organisations for their commitment, hospitality and excellent cooperation throughout the mobility.
With three mobilities completed, the Erasmus+ Accreditation journey continued towards its fourth and final activity in Punkaharju, Finland, bringing together the knowledge, experiences and partnerships developed throughout the project.
🇪🇺 Co-funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Programme.
